We offer lectures & storytelling presentations that keep audiences of all ages on the edge of their seats.  We have entertained thousands across the southeast  at corporate dinners, community events, museums, and schools with our dynamic presentations.

We can cover any aspect of Charleston history  from Colonial, Revolution, and Civil War to Pirates and Ghosts.

Private Parties

Charleston Pirate Tours does birthday parties.

Pirate parties are always a hit!

Highlights of our pirate parties for children include storytelling, balloon twisting, and treasure hunt (with custom-made map) .  Of course, the kids love seeing Capt. Bob and Doozer, too.

We happily customize parties for all kinds of occasions.  In addition to pirate parties, we can do just balloon twisting.  We also offer and magic!

Weddings

Charleston Pirate wedding

We never expected to be in the wedding business, but we've done several pirate-themed weddings, vow renewals, and proposals!  We're happy to work with wedding and event planners or to help you plan the event on your own.

Event Reviews

Charleston pirate event entertainment

"Everyone had great reports on the Pirate.  I will definitely continue to use you, and I'm happy to refer you, as well."  Christy Loftin, Director of Sales and Marketing, Planters Inn & Peninsula Grill

"A special thanks to Charleston Pirate Tours and Eric for doing an awesome job at entertaining my corporate group at the Old Exchange.  Not only did Eric offer a fantastic view of how piracy was in the lowcountry, he also was so amenable to being thrown in with my professional actors as part of a great fight scene.  Bob the bird was the perfect addition.  I look forward to utilizing CPT for all of our pirate programs."  Lawson Roberts, White Tuxedo Productions

"Eric spoke at a business banquet for me.  It was late at night after a long day, but he held everyone's attention with his lively and humorous storytelling.  Bob the parrot was entertaining, too!  Eric really knows his pirate history and went from table to table answering questions.  He was very patient and friendly, posing for photos and chatting with my attendees.  If he was that good in a banquet room, I can just imagine how much fun he must be on a walking tour.  His outfit was great, too.  All around, a terrific package - good costume, good storyteller, great stories, funny parrot.  You will not be disappointed!"  Hope Silverman, FSA

"Thank you so much for your recent visit and special presentations at The Schiele Museum in Gastonia, NC.  We really found your programs to be interesting, educational, and great for all ages!  Thank you for all the time you spent with our guests and for going the extra mile.  We would love to have you back here very soon and highly recommend you to other museums, schools, or families! A++++++++++  We love Capt Bob; he was great!!!!"  Amy Ballard, Schiele Museum of Natural History

"Sabrina and Eric, Thank you, so much for the wonderful Birthday party adventure!  We had so much fun and you guys were GREAT!  We will be using you again!"  Natasha Beard

"The party was so much fun thanks to Eric!!!  The balloon art was a great way to start the party!!  The kids looked enthralled with the pirate history. Abigail continues to tell me pirate facts that she learned from Eric (I’m glad that the kids learned something about Charleston history). The treasure hunt was also a big hit. Abigail thought it was cool that Eric asked her to lead the way and to help carry the treasure chest.  Abigail said she loved the mermaid balloon and the dolphin balloon the best.  That made her feel special.  Thank you so much for the job well done!!!  We all had a great time!"      Ainsley Dyson

The party was amazing! Eric did an incredible job! We are so very appreciative of the great time had by all!   Lori Kilner-Khouri
