We all learned about Francis Marion in school, but I don't remember any mention of Isaac Hayne in history classes. He was an unsung hero of the Revolution, who died at the hands of the British. If you visit the Old Exchange Building, you might just run into him today, as he is one of the spirits still hanging out there.

A young bride still awaits her bridegroom at a Charleston church 216 years after the wedding because "til death do us part" came before the nuptial. Oh, and let me clarify something in the video. When I say that St. Michael's is the oldest church building in the city, I mean in the downtown area.
